Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Management Trainee to join our Restaurant Operations team at Sukiya. As a Management Trainee, you will be responsible for assisting in the daily operations of our restaurants, including kitchen operations, staff management, and customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the daily operation of the restaurant, including kitchen operations and staff management.
  • Manage a team of full-time and part-time crew members, including recruitment and training.
  • Assist in the development of new hires in terms of kitchen, counter, and dining operations for business growth.
  • Oversee stock check and ordering, ensuring that all delivery items meet specifications and are properly stored.
  • Responsible for sales and cash float management, adhering to finance and operations department cash-handling policies.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and handle complaints, performing service recovery and recognizing staff based on customer compliments.
  • Ensure that all restaurant equipment is fully functioning, taking initiative for simple repair works as needed.
  • Perform any operation-related duties assigned by the Restaurant General Manager or Area Managers.

Requirements:

  • 1 year of full-time experience in the F&B industry.
  • Willingness to work shifts and weekends/public holidays.
  • At least 2 years of supervisory work experience in any QSR (Quick Service Restaurants).
  • Proficiency in spoken and/or written English.

Work Schedule:

This role requires a flexible work schedule, including:

  • 40+ hours/week.
  • Overtime.
  • 5 days/week.
  • 6 days/week.
  • 8 hours shift.
