The Opportunity

We are seeking a driven, reliable Accountant to join our team. As a Property Management Accountant, your role is critical to ensuring accuracy under tight deadlines in a fast-changing environment. Your responsibilities will include preparing timely and accurate monthly financial statements for all properties, communicating with investors and landlords, reviewing general ledgers for accounts receivables and accounts payables, and understanding profit and loss statements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare timely and accurate monthly financial statements for all properties
  • Communicate with investors and landlords
  • Review general ledgers for accounts receivables and accounts payables
  • Understand profit and loss statements
  • Tenant/Owner on-boarding and off-boarding
  • Prepare tenant adjustments as necessary
  • Handle and review bank deposits
  • Auditing and bank reconciliation
  • Filing and documenting historical records
  • Retrieve utility invoices from online portal
  • Enter invoices into the property management software, AppFolio
  • Issue utility payments
  • Complete ad hoc projects as assigned

Requirements

  • Fluent in English to include written and verbal communication
  • Bachelor's degree or accounting experience
  • Property Management Accounting experience
  • Experience using AppFolio Property Management software

What We Offer

  • Hourly Rate: $12.00 USD - $14.00 USD
  • Bonus Pay: U.S. Holidays + Time Off
