Key Responsibilities

  • Partner closely with leaders and employees to establish credibility as a trusted advisor and influence key strategic and operational decisions.
  • Provide proactive support for organizational planning and development initiatives that align the human resources agenda with business strategies and initiatives.
  • Collaborate closely with colleagues to understand our longer-term operating model, advise on strategic changes, and understand talent across the organization.
  • Understand market forces and business strategy, and translate those requirements to talent-related requirements.
  • Facilitate career management, development, performance, succession planning conversations.
  • Execute structured relationship management cadence to maintain relationships and communication channels.
  • Mitigate risk by ensuring appropriate escalation/investigation of performance, conduct, and other ER-related matters.
  • Work closely with Managers and employees to promote and increase employee engagement to enable a high-performing workforce to contribute to the company's strategic growth.
  • Support clients' coverage and identify emerging talent issues before they impact the clients' strategy fulfillment.
  • Leverage employee feedback and/or interviews to maintain or build awareness of covered population, issues, and challenges.
  • Ensure adherence to applicable employment legislation for the different provinces in which we operate.

Requirements

  • 5-8 years of progressive HR Business Partner experience with proven track record of success.
