About the Role:

As a Maintenance Technician at American Axle & Manufacturing, Inc., you will play a critical role in ensuring the optimal availability of our equipment. You will be responsible for monitoring, maintaining, troubleshooting, and participating in the continuous improvement of our equipment, in compliance with our maintenance processes and HSE rules.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out repairs and work requested by various departments using our CMMS tool.
  • Perform preventive maintenance operations to ensure equipment reliability.
  • Participate in problem-solving and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment performance.
  • Maintain the stock of spare parts, adhering to stock release rules and procedures.
  • Comply with and participate in our 5S maintenance workshop, warehouse, and office initiatives.

Requirements:

  • BTS Electromechanical or Industrial Maintenance qualification with experience.
  • Electrical and mechanical skills.
  • Knowledge of Proface, Fanuc, and Siemens is a plus.
  • Ability to work in a 3*8 shift environment.
