About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Trade Compliance Contractor to join our team at Nissan Motor Iberica Sa. As a Trade Compliance Contractor, you will be responsible for maintaining and applying up-to-date regulatory expertise to ensure compliance with federal regulations for trade content programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyses vendor and BOM data to prepare analyses and perform annual reconciliations of content and origin for present and future models in accordance with regulations.
- Updates internal controls and procedures manuals in accordance with business needs and regulations.
- Interfaces with external suppliers to obtain necessary documentation to support the NNA Trade Content Program.
- Assists compliance manager in managing outsourced services for content and country of origin solicitation.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering preferred, technical experience required.
- Background experience in customs and trade regulations is a plus.
- 2 to 3 years of related experience at a professional level, such as manufacturing engineer, automotive parts buyer, supply chain analyst or data scientist.
- Advanced knowledge of word processor, spreadsheet EXCEL, and other PC applications.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical, accounting and systems project skills.
- Ability to work and deliver results under limited supervision.
Language: Advanced English
