Position Overview

Role Summary:

As a Client Relationship Manager, you will act as the primary point of contact between Corporate Accounts, Strategic Regional Accounts, WestRock facilities, and customer sites, delivering specialized support tailored to our esteemed clientele.

This role emphasizes a value-driven sales approach, engaging WestRock resources at various locations to address critical business challenges and customer needs effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary liaison between WestRock and clients, enhancing overall customer service through collaboration with supplier facilities.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, overseeing the complete lifecycle of customer specifications, logistics, and troubleshooting.
  • Align customer needs with business objectives to ensure satisfaction and operational success.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Financial Managers to assist in budget formulation and management.
  • Gain insights into the competitive landscape of clients to identify opportunities for added value, efficiency improvements, and training for manufacturing processes.
  • Foster and manage relationships with both internal and external customers, delivering value-added sales and service solutions.
  • Create and refine Opportunity Plans that align with Corporate Account's Key Account Profiles (KAPs).
  • Regularly review Opportunity Plans with senior sales leadership to ensure alignment and progress.
  • Work closely with production, manufacturing, and account teams to communicate customer requirements effectively.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
  • 2 to 3 years of experience in corrugated sales is advantageous.
  • Over 5 years of relevant experience in sales, project management, or technical training.
  • A solid understanding of various equipment types and technical capabilities within the packaging sector.
  • Proven expertise with packaging systems.
  • Demonstrated sales proficiency and business insight.
  • Ability to clarify complex issues and devise long-term solutions.
  • Competence in managing multiple accounts and deadlines while effectively interacting with diverse teams.
  • Strong leadership qualities and sound business judgment.
  • Proficient in computer applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
