Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Manager to join our team at Johnson Controls International. As a key member of our supply chain team, you will be responsible for directing the procurement of materials, components, and services that meet our operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Procurement Strategy: Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with our company's goals and objectives.
  • Supplier Management: Evaluate and select suppliers based on their ability to provide high-quality materials and services.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels to ensure efficient operational processes and meet customer delivery expectations.
  • Cost Savings: Implement cost-saving procedures and negotiate long-term contracts with suppliers.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and develop a team of material planning staff to ensure effective supply chain management.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or Operations Management.
  • Experience: 5 years of related experience, with at least 2 years as a supervisor in a supply chain role.
  • Skills: Good communication skills, lean manufacturing knowledge, and APICS Certification in CPIM (preferred).
