Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Eh&S Engineer to join our team at Flex. As an Eh&S Engineer, you will be responsible for optimizing and improving the reliability of our production processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process Optimization: Identify and correct problems using root cause analysis tools to optimize and increase the reliability of production processes.
- Standard Development: Establish and document standards that meet the requirements of the company and the client in terms of Safety, Quality, OTD, and Cost.
- Engineering Changes: Participate in the decisions of engineering changes and update existing documentation of production processes.
- Project Implementation: Implement new projects in conjunction with the project engineer, evaluating, documenting, and adjusting the process for a successful launch.
- Machinery Installation: Lead the installation of new machinery from detection to documentation of benefits obtained and capitalization of fixed assets.
- Staff Training: Work closely with operational staff to identify staff training and training needs, and generate corresponding training plans.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
- Experience: 3+ years of experience as a Process Engineer.
- Skills: Advanced English, knowledge of 6 Sigma - Lean Manufacturing, Troubleshooting Tools (CoreTools, PDCA), Handling Minitab, Autocad, and Solidworks (Intermediate).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Industry Experience: Experience in automotive or metalworking industry of 500+ workers.
- Project Management: Project management, basic knowledge of PMI (Project Management Institute) methodologies.
- Office Package Management: Office Package Management (PowerPoint, Excel, Project).
- Industry Knowledge: Knowledge of IATF 16949, ISO 14000.
