Job Description

As a Senior Software Validation OS Engineer, you'll play a critical role in enabling Intel's vision for software and advanced technology. You'll work in a strong, close-collaborating team, with cutting-edge technologies from both the software and hardware worlds, alongside domain experts in the industry.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Will be able to independently evaluate solutions, determine their merits, and lead deployment.
  • Will be a self-starter with a growth-oriented mindset, interested in learning the operating system stack and new technologies.
  • Will be interested in automating and designing workflows using frameworks, scripts, and software engineering.
  • Will have excellent problem-solving and communication skills with stakeholders.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or Software Engineering, or any other related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in working with one or more of the following languages: C, C++, Python, PowerShell, or Go.
  • Developing, enhancing, and automating test cases, from unit tests to end-to-end multi-machine workloads.
  • Working with and debugging unstable hardware, identifying system-level issues (firmware, hardware, or OS).
  • Building on top of IT infrastructure and services to create solutions for a remote Linux engineering environment.
  • Intermediate to advanced English level.
  • Unrestricted, permanent right to work in Mexico.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in test automation, managing, and automating CI/CD flows for systems (GitHub, GitLab, Jenkins, etc.).
  • Familiarity with modern QA and infrastructure deployment practices, along with creating effective communication dashboards.
  • Experience analyzing complex systems and data.
