Job Purpose
This position is responsible for applying a working knowledge of the industry, parts, and shipping practices to execute order-processing functions necessary to allow Caterpillar Brazil to accept orders, ship, and invoice requested products.
Key Responsibilities
- Supports all domestic and international service parts requirements for internal and external customers.
- Receives and processes requests for quotes, validating part numbers, pricing, and lead times to ensure customer needs are met.
- Receives Purchase Orders from customers, reviews terms and conditions, and consults with experienced staff to identify discrepancies or conflicts.
- Keeps customers informed of order status, solves related problems, and expedites orders as necessary to meet customer demands.
- Coordinates with other Caterpillar Brazil entities to ensure orders are fulfilled on time.
- Works with distributors and agents to coordinate receipt of Purchase Orders, shipment of orders, and ensures compliance with Caterpillar Brazil practices and procedures.
Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, International Business, Logistics, or equivalent relevant work experience is strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years related experience, including at least one year working as a Service Parts Administrator or equivalent experience in another company or department.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.
- Proficiency in English is required.
About the Role
This role will be performed at Caterpillar Brazil's facilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of order-processing functions, providing excellent customer service, and working collaboratively with internal stakeholders.
