About the Role:

The Business Development Officer is responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with Small and Medium-sized Enterprise (SME) clients in their portfolio. This involves offering high-value services, advising on segment products, and ensuring compliance with sales goals defined by the franchise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure portfolio growth, cross-selling, and customer retention in line with franchise-defined sales goals.
  • Identify and link existing clients through needs detection to enhance the Customer-Bank relationship.
  • Provide comprehensive advice to SME clients, positioning the bank as their first option for product acquisition.
  • Execute campaigns and strategies defined by the franchise to boost sales growth.
  • Develop and implement action plans with the Area Coordinator to ensure compliance with the sales plan.
  • Monitor and report deviations, generating effective communication with the immediate boss.
  • Comply with institutional controls and regulations.
  • Visit clients to understand opportunities for improvement and develop plans aligned with customer expectations, ensuring NPS indexes defined at the franchise level.
  • Design and implement action plans with the Coordinator to achieve the NPS goal.
  • Identify service improvements and escalate to the Coordinator.
  • Deliver exceptional client experiences, measured by specific metrics.
  • Assess risk when making business decisions, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in selling financial products.
  • Knowledge of financial products, especially credit to companies, sales techniques.
  • Excellent communication skills and objection management with customers to achieve effective sales.

Education:

  • Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience.
