About the Role:

Tecma is seeking a highly skilled Environmental Health and Safety Specialist to join our team. As an Ehs Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our employees and the environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
  • Provide training and guidance to employees on safety procedures and protocols.
  • Maintain accurate records of safety incidents, injuries, and illnesses.
  • Collaborate with management to develop and implement safety programs and initiatives.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of environmental management systems.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including OSHA, MSHA, DOT, and EPA.

Requirements:

  • 4 years of experience in environmental health and safety, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • Fluent English language skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • OSHA certification.
  • Experience with safety management software.
  • Knowledge of environmental regulations and compliance.
