About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced sales professional to join our team in Punta Mita, Nevis, and Naviva. This role involves identifying and targeting group customers and site selection companies to generate business on behalf of our hotels. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in hotel group sales, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Negotiate, draft, and manage proposals, contracts, and addendums to ensure resort budget and revenue targets are achieved.
- Utilize prospecting resources to solicit and secure business on behalf of our hotels.
- Create and execute account plans for assigned market territories to ensure maximum group revenue and budgeted targets are achieved.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue and direct sales goals, including outside sales calls, prospecting calls, site inspections, and entertainment.
- Assist the Director of Sales in developing new programs and sales campaigns to obtain additional sales from various market niches.
Requirements:
- Minimum 4 years of experience in luxury hotel group sales, preferably in a managerial role.
- College degree or equivalent experience.
- Excellent reading, writing, and oral proficiency in English (and other languages as required).
- Working computer skills and knowledge of software applications such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Golden Sales & Catering, Ideas, Internet, and Opera.
Salary:
The estimated salary for this role is $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
Location:
This role is based in Punta Mita, Nevis, and Naviva, with frequent travel required to promote our hotels and engage with clients.
