Join our Team We are seeking a highly motivated and results driven Business Development Manager to spearhead the growth of our Ocean Freight division. You will be the key architect in expanding our client portfolio, forging strategic partnerships, and significantly contributing to our market presence and pofitability.

The ideal candidate will lead initiatives to generate and engage with business partners to build new business for the company. This candidate will be focused and have strong communication skills. They should be able to think critically when making plans and have a demonstrated ability to execute a particular strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, qualify and prospect new potential clients within the international trade
  • Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with new and existing key accounts in an effort to grow business and help company expand, acting as their primary strategic contact.
  • Design and present compelling, tailored Ocean Freight and integrated logistics solutions that meet specific client needs
  • Manage the entire sales cycle, from lead generation to negotiation, closing, and account management.
  • Prepare Sales Forecasts, management reports and present results to senior leadership.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in International Business, Engineering, business administration, Comex, or related field
  • 5 years' prior industry related business development experience (Ocean Freight)
  • Strong knowledge of international trade processes
  • Professional fluency in english is mandatory
  • Proficiency using CRM tools and the Microsoft Office 365 suite
  • Focused and goal-oriented
