¿Qué harás como
QA Engineer (Senior)
?
Serás responsable de asegurar la calidad de nuestras plataformas y servicios antes de que lleguen a millones de usuarios, impulsando la automatización, el análisis y la mejora continua de nuestros productos.
Principales responsabilidades:
- Diseñar, automatizar y ejecutar pruebas funcionales y no funcionales (UI y API) garantizando estabilidad y rendimiento en entornos de producción.
- Integrar suites de pruebas en pipelines de CI/CD (GitHub Actions, Jenkins), asegurando la trazabilidad y cobertura continua.
- Colaborar con equipos de Desarrollo, PM y DevOps para revisar requerimientos, identificar riesgos y definir estrategias de prueba.
- Monitorear métricas y logs en Grafana, ELK o Datadog para detectar regresiones, validar despliegues y derivar casos de prueba basados en fallas reales.
- Documentar defectos e incidencias con evidencias claras, priorizando por riesgo y proponiendo acciones correctivas.
- Contribuir a la evolución del ecosistema de automatización sostenible, buscando cobertura del 80% en pruebas de APIs críticas.
Lo que buscamos en ti
- Formación: Ingeniería o Licenciatura en Sistemas, Software o afines.
- Experiencia: 5+ años en QA, con al menos 3 años en automatización (API y/o UI).
- Certificación: ISTQB (mínimo nivel fundamentos).
Conocimientos técnicos:
UI: Selenium WebDriver (Java o Python), Selenium Grid, Playwright o Cypress.
- API: Postman/Newman, REST Assured, Pytest + Requests.
- CI/CD: GitHub Actions, Jenkins.
- Performance: k6, JMeter, Gatling o Locust.
- Seguridad: OWASP ZAP, SonarQube, Semgrep, Snyk o Trivy.
Observabilidad: Grafana, ELK o Datadog.
Metodologías: Scrum, Kanban, DevOps/Shift-Left, Risk-Based Testing, TDD/BDD.
- Habilidades blandas: pensamiento crítico, comunicación asertiva, enfoque en resultados, disciplina documental, orientación al cliente y mentalidad de aprendizaje.
Metas y retos del puesto
- Implementar la estrategia de automatización del área QA.
- Garantizar la calidad continua del software mediante indicadores clave (DER, bug report quality, cycle time QA).
- Construir un ecosistema de pruebas automatizadas escalable y sostenible.
