We are looking for a proactive and experienced Automation Manager to lead the automation initiatives within a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining automated systems and processes to increase production efficiency, reduce manual tasks, and enhance product quality.The Automation Manager will supervise a team of automation engineers and technicians, working closely with other departments such as production, maintenance, quality, and IT. This role requires both strong technical skills and the ability to manage projects, people, and timelines effectively.Key Responsibilities:Plan, develop, and implement automation projects aligned with production goals and cost -efficiency targetsManage and supervise the automation team, ensuring proper training, task allocation, and performance evaluationsMonitor and improve automated systems to optimize uptime and reduce downtimeAnalyze current manufacturing processes to identify areas for automation and improvementEnsure the integration of new automated systems into existing operationsCoordinate with suppliers and integrators for equipment procurement and installationMaintain up -to -date documentation of automation systems, schematics, and programsEnsure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental standardsStay current with technological advancements and recommend new automation tools and methodsProvide technical support to operations and maintenance teams for troubleshooting issues RequirementsBachelor's degree in Automation Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field5–7 years of experience in automation in a manufacturing or industrial settingHands -on experience with PLC/HMI/SCADA systems (Siemens, Rockwell, etc.)Project management experience is a plusKnowledge of industrial communication protocols (Ethernet/IP, Modbus, Profinet)Fluent in English (Spanish is a plus)Strong understanding of industrial safety systems and standardsAbility to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure BenefitsCompetitive annual salary of $70Annual bonus based on performanceFull medical coverage (health, dental, and vision insurance)Paid vacation and holidaysCareer development opportunities and technical trainingSupportive and collaborative team environmentOpportunities to lead cutting -edge automation projectsAccess to the latest industry tools and technology
