Strategic and Operational Projects

  • Lead facility projects relating to building systems, equipment, or physical infrastructure
  • Review and report on building systems, ancillary equipment and facility preparedness for mergers and acquisitions
  • Work with Plant and Maintenance management to develop plans for building system or infrastructure upgrades including sustainable implementations
  • Lead multi-functional teams in project initiatives including internal and external resources such as contractors and vendors.
  • Work with project managers to support building system needs for manufacturing engineering projects
  • Develop, track, and manage operating and capital budgets for facility-related expenditures.
  • Negotiate contracts and manage vendor performance to ensure cost-effective, high-quality service delivery.

Building Systems

  • Standardize building services and ancillary systems such as security, compressed air, fire protection, HVAC, back-up power, water conservation and metering
  • Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety (EHS) standards and local regulations.
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities in energy efficiency and sustainability.

Construction and Renovation

  • Plan and manage construction, renovation, and optimization projects across all company facilities.
  • Develop and manage annual capital plans for leasehold improvements, facility repairs, and upgrades.
  • Ensure all projects meet code compliance, health and safety standards, and organizational specifications.
  • Coordinate with external stakeholders including ministries, landlords, insurance providers, and governing authorities.

Asset and Maintenance System Management

  • Implement and maintain a standardized Computerized
  • Maintenance Management System (CMMS) for all facilities.
  • Analyze maintenance data to improve reliability and reduce downtime.

Layout and Site Plan Repository

  • Develop and maintain a plant/warehouse site plan repository to house drawing packages and layouts for all HPS locations.
  • Ensure updated drawings are obtained, saved and organized from internal and external stakeholders including vendors and contractors
Experience

Required

  • 5 - 10 years: Experience working with external regulatory and compliance agencies, landlords, and insurance representatives.
  • 5 - 10 years: Global leadership experience in managing facility operations or capital projects across multiple countries or regions.
  • 5 - 10 years: Proven experience leading multi-disciplinary and geographically distributed teams.
  • 5 - 10 years: Facilities management, construction, or infrastructure project management.
Education

Preferred

  • Maestría or better in Planning
  • Engineer's degree or better in Engineering or related field
  • Engineer's degree or better in Architecture or related field
