Application Developer Intern

What will you do?

• Provide support and solutions for application-related issues to clients, users, and Schneider Electric employees.
• Participate in software development activities.
• Assist in the support, follow-up, and creation of low-complexity applications/projects.
• Contribute to UI design proposals.

What skills and capabilities will make you successful?

• Programming:
• Solid understanding of Java fundamentals (syntax, data types, control structures, OOP).
• Basic knowledge of web development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
• Experience with Java 8+.
• Basic understanding of REST APIs.

• Familiarity with agile methodologies (Scrum).

• Databases:
  Basic knowledge of SQL.

• Tools & Frameworks:
  Java, Spring, Angular 19+, PrimeFaces, Bootstrap.
• Software:
  Familiarity with command-line tools (Linux / Windows).

Soft Skills:

• Continuous learning mindset.
• Teamwork and effective communication.
• Attention to detail and logical thinking.
• Proactivity in solving simple technical problems.
• User support and service orientation.

What qualifications will make you successful for this role?

• Active student in majors such as Computer Systems Engineering, Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, Application Development, or related fields.
• Expected graduation date:
  December 2026 or later

• Speaking: Basic-Intermediate.
• Reading: Intermediate (especially for technical documentation).
