Hybrid Test Engineer

Job Overview
We are urgently looking for a Hybrid Test Engineer with strong experience across functional testing, API testing, database validation, and test automation. This role is ideal for a hands-on tester who has worked in Agile environments and can move seamlessly between manual and automated testing activities.
Exposure to Databricks and Power BI is highly valued, especially in data-driven or reporting-focused projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform functional testing to validate business requirements and user workflows.
- Execute API testing to ensure backend services meet performance and data integrity standards.
- Validate data through database testing and queries.
- Design, execute, and maintain automated test scripts.
- Collaborate with developers, product owners, and QA teams in Agile/Scrum projects.
- Support testing efforts related to data platforms and reporting tools (Databricks, Power BI).
- Identify, document, and track defects through resolution.
Required Qualifications
- 4–6 years of experience in software testing.
- Strong hands-on experience in:
- Functional testing
- API testing
- Database testing
- Test automation
- Experience working in Agile development environments.
- Solid understanding of QA processes, test planning, and defect management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Nice to Have
- Experience testing data pipelines or analytics platforms.
- Exposure to Databricks and/or Power BI.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setup.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75, $77,000.00 per month
