Role Description

Senior Restructuring Manager (Full-Time Remote)

We are seeking a senior restructuring professional to lead complex corporate restructuring and turnaround engagements for financially distressed businesses. This is a remote, full-time role intended for someone who has already operated at a high level in creditor-facing, high-pressure environments and can be trusted with judgment-heavy mandates.

The role is hands-on. You will lead restructuring assignments end-to-end: assessing liquidity and solvency, diagnosing operational and capital-structure issues, managing negotiations with creditors and stakeholders, and executing restructuring solutions designed to preserve enterprise value and avoid insolvency where possible. You will act as a direct advisor to executive management, boards, and lenders throughout the process.

This position requires independence, discretion, and credibility. You will work closely with internal team members and external advisors, but you are expected to own outcomes, not just analysis.

Core Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute corporate restructuring and turnaround engagements
  • Perform rigorous financial, liquidity, and operational analysis
  • Design and implement restructuring strategies, including debt restructurings
  • Lead negotiations with creditors, investors, and other stakeholders
  • Advise boards and senior management on restructuring options and trade-offs
  • Drive execution through to resolution

Required Profile

  • Meaningful experience in corporate restructuring, turnarounds, or special situations
  • Strong financial analysis and modeling capability
  • Proven experience leading creditor and stakeholder negotiations
  • Comfortable operating independently in senior, client-facing situations
  • Clear, direct communication and sound executive judgment

Business Development Expectation

The ability to originate, refer, or introduce restructuring engagements is highly valued. Professionals who can bring in work are expected to do so and will be recognized accordingly.
