Role Overview

The Paid Advertising Specialist is responsible for planning, executing, and optimizing performance-driven paid media campaigns across digital advertising platforms. This role covers the full paid advertising lifecycle—from campaign strategy and setup to optimization, testing, and performance analysis—requiring a strong balance of analytical thinking and hands-on execution.

You will manage campaigns across multiple platforms, collaborate with creative partners, optimize budgets and targeting, and scale profitable acquisition channels. This role is ideal for performance-focused marketers who enjoy testing, optimization, and data-driven decision-making in fast-paced environments.

By improving return on ad spend and reducing acquisition costs, you help build scalable and sustainable marketing channels. Your testing discipline, optimization strategies, and budget ownership ensure advertising investments deliver measurable business impact.

Core Responsibilities
Campaign Strategy, Setup & Execution — 30%
  • Develop paid advertising strategies aligned with growth and acquisition goals
  • Set up and launch campaigns across major advertising platforms
  • Build campaign structures with proper tracking, naming conventions, and attribution
  • Develop audience targeting and keyword strategies
  • Coordinate with creative teams on ad requirements and specifications
Campaign Optimization & Performance Management — 30%
  • Monitor campaign performance and identify optimization opportunities
  • Optimize bids, targeting, placements, and budgets to improve efficiency
  • Analyze performance metrics such as ROAS, CPA, CTR, CVR, and CPM
  • Scale winning campaigns and pause underperforming ones
  • Troubleshoot delivery, tracking, and policy-related issues
A/B Testing & Creative Collaboration — 20%
  • Design and execute structured A/B tests for creative, audiences, and funnels
  • Collaborate with designers and copywriters using performance insights
  • Analyze test results and document learnings
  • Test multiple formats, messages, and audience segments across platforms
Budget Management & Forecasting — 10%
  • Manage and pace advertising budgets responsibly
  • Allocate spend across platforms based on performance
  • Forecast campaign performance and budget requirements
  • Ensure spend efficiency and alignment with profitability goals
Analytics, Reporting & Insights — 5%
  • Track and analyze performance using platform and analytics tools
  • Create performance summaries with actionable insights
  • Conduct post-campaign analysis to inform future strategy
Platform-Specific Management — 5%
  • Execute platform-specific best practices based on primary channels
  • Stay current with platform updates, algorithms, and new features
Requirements
Must-Haves (Required)
  • 1–3+ years of experience in paid advertising, media buying, or performance marketing
  • Hands-on experience with at least two major advertising platforms
  • Proven ability to manage campaigns and improve performance metrics
  • Strong understanding of audience targeting, conversion tracking, and optimization
  • Analytical mindset with ability to interpret performance data
  • Proficiency in Google Sheets or Excel for reporting and analysis
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
  • Strong ownership, attention to detail, and accountability
  • Proven ability to work independently in a remote environment
Nice-to-Haves (Preferred)
  • Experience managing campaigns across multiple platforms or regions
  • Background in e-commerce, DTC, lead generation, or affiliate marketing
  • Experience with attribution tools, CRO tools, or funnel optimization
  • Familiarity with advertising automation, scripts, or rules
  • Exposure to international or Spanish-speaking market campaigns
  • Platform certifications (Google Ads, Meta, Amazon, LinkedIn, TikTok)
