Workplace Operations ManagerAbout the role:
Samsara is looking for a highly motivated Workplace Operations Manager interested in getting involved in a high-growth IoT tech company to support our CDMX office. We are looking for a strategic thinker with experience in managing office services (catering, snacks, janitorial, etc.) in a growing environment. Demonstrated experience in facilities and customer service is required.
The ideal candidate prides themselves on their quality of work and relationship-building skills. Experience managing an office with a robust offering of internal events and high-profile external guests are must-have to be successful in the role. Diligent follow-up, attention to detail, and an ability to develop and execute best practices that align with our culture will be a big asset. If you thrive in an exciting and evolving company, you'll play a critical part in scaling our business. We're looking for a problem solver who believes no task is too big (or too small), finds solutions, and is thoughtful in translating Samsara's values to the workplace.
This role reports to the Director, Workplace Operations.

In this role, you will:
Oversee day-to-day workplace services and vendor management including catering, snacks, janitorial, etc.
Manage overall office budget and make recommendations for cost savings when applicable.
Act as liaison between building management and the Workplace team.
Identify and build out business-required processes that make the employee experience more smooth and comfortable.
Partner internally and externally with teams across the organization to support and facilitate events, onboarding, moves, etc.
Work with the remote teams/ remote office manager to deliver white glove service to their satellite offices.
Oversee and support the expansion efforts in our CDMX office.
Temporarily support pop up office locations while in pilot stages within your timezone.
Serve as the POC for construction related check ins.
Ad-hoc workplace projects as needed.

Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree.
Minimum of 3+ years of office management experience.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Proficient in Google Suite and Slack.
Ability to organize, multi-task, prioritize, and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to be resourceful, proactive, and self-sufficient in issues that may arise.
Must be able to lift 50 lbs and move around small office furniture if needed.

Samsara's Compensation Philosophy: Samsara's compensation program is designed to deliver Total Direct Compensation (based on role, level, and geography) that is at or above market. We do this through our base salary + bonus/variable + restricted stock unit awards (RSUs) for eligible roles. For eligible roles, a new hire RSU award may be awarded at the time of hire, and additional RSU refresh grants may be awarded annually.
We pay for performance, and top performers in eligible roles may receive above-market equity refresh awards which allow employees to achieve higher market.
The range of annual base salary for full-time employees for this position is below. Please note that base pay offered may vary depending on factors including your city of residence, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. $1—$2 USDAt Samsara, we welcome everyone regardless of their background.
