Responsibilities
Job Description

  • Direct and collaborate with supplier representatives on quality problems, ensure timely corrective action implementation (CAPA, SCAR), and contribute to supplier quality improvement programs.
  • Generate and analyze reports and defective products to determine trends and lead corrective actions. Use concepts of probability and statistical quality control to guide decisions. Prepare and present analysis and recommendations to management.
  • Work with broader Quality team to establish and maintain supplier ratings and supplier scorecards.
  • Review or assist in reviewing supplier change requests and supplier change notices for impact on Quality Management System.
  • Lead investigations of product and process non-conformances and out-of-specification results and develop effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Support tracking and processing of confidentiality agreements, quality agreements, Supplier Notifications and other supplier-related documentation.
  • Collaborate in Supplier Validations by leading and documenting First Article Inspection
  • Identify and implement improvement opportunities to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the Supplier Quality program, and the Quality Management System overall.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.

Work Experience

  • At least 2 years of experience in the Supplier Quality Engineer
  • Experience working knowledge of government and industry quality assurance codes and standards (e.g. 21 CFR 820, ISO13485).

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities

  • Bilingual (Fluent in English).
  • Experience using MS Office Suite products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint,).
  • Intermediate Skill Level in Microsoft Excel.
  • Result Oriented
  • Effective Communication
  • Problem Solving
