About the role:

As a Tax Supervisor, you'll lead complex assignments, collaborate with senior & junior tax accountants, and work directly with our clients to provide expert tax guidance & prepare tax returns. This role offers the opportunity to work on high-level tasks, advise clients on sophisticated tax strategies, and set a standard of excellence within our firm.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review Tax Returns prepared by Junior & Senior preparers.
• Train preparers on processes and procedures.
• Document processes and procedures.
• Analysis of financial information and preparation of financial reports to determine or maintain records of assets, liabilities, profit and loss, tax liability, or other financial activities for clients.
• Oversee and prepare various tax returns, including 1040, 1040NR, FBAR, 1120, 1120S, 1120F, 1065, and 5471.
• Review and process incoming financial documentation such as bank statements and client documentation. 
• Facilitating clients to ensure they are complying with federal, state, and local regulatory requirements.
• Perform additional accounting and tax-related responsibilities as assigned.

• Must be comfortable reading, writing, and speaking to clients about tax accounting matters in both English and Spanish.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Taxation and 5+year experience. 
• Experience in US Tax Preparation
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
• Proficiency in UltraTax CS, QuickBooks and Tax Programs
• Experience working for a US-based Companies
  
• Advanced level of English & Spanish
• Prior experience preparing complex tax returns and corporate tax filings

Preferred Qualifications:

• 3+ years experience working in a CPA or Bookkeeping firm
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  
• CPA or Enrolled Agent certification, or active pursuit of certification
• Demonstrated experience with tax planning and advising for multinational clients
