Portifer Engineering is recruiting two Field Service Technicians/Engineers for one of its key clients, a global machinery manufacturer with worldwide operations. These positions involve hands-on work with advanced industrial equipment, extensive travel, and direct technical support to customers across North and South America, with a primary focus on Mexico.
Must already possess a valid U.S. visa. A tourist/business visa is acceptable. The ability to travel legally to the United States is mandatory for training and business visits.
Key responsibilities include installing and maintaining machinery, performing repairs, testing and debugging systems (including PLC program modifications), and training customers' operators and technicians.
The role also requires preparing detailed service reports, offering technical guidance on maintenance and upgrades, and collaborating with internal teams by providing feedback for design improvements and assisting with electrical documentation.
Candidates must possess strong technical knowledge in mechatronics, automation, PLCs (Allen-Bradley, B&R, Siemens), electrical circuits, and pneumatic/hydraulic systems, and be capable of making program adjustments in the field.
Both Spanish and English are mandatory languages.
This is a travel-intensive role (over 80%), requiring flexibility to work weekends, overtime, and adapt to changing priorities. The candidate should be able to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and collaborate effectively with teams.

Pay: $35, $70,000.00 per month
