Human Resources Coordinator (Remote – Mexico)

Location: Remote (Mexico only)

Compensation: $2,300 USD per month

Job Type: 1099 Independent Contractor

Schedule: Full-time

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Human Resources Coordinator based in Mexico to support and manage our end-to-end HR functions. This is a remote, 1099 contracting position for someone with proven human resources experience, strong English communication skills, and a solid understanding of hiring and employee lifecycle management.

This role requires someone who is highly organized, proactive, and capable of building and maintaining HR systems and processes.

Key Responsibilities/Recruiting & Hiring

  • Manage full-cycle recruiting using Indeed and other platforms
  • Create, post, and manage job advertisements
  • Screen resumes and conduct initial interviews
  • Coordinate interviews and onboarding
  • Ensure hiring processes are followed accurately and consistently

Employee Lifecycle Management

Build and manage an employee lifecycle system that tracks:

  • Employee birthdays
  • Work anniversaries
  • Performance review cycles
  • Ensure 100% of employees receive at least one formal performance review per year
  • Implement and manage a 360-degree feedback system for leadership and key roles

Internal Communication & Culture

  • Launch and manage a recurring internal HR newsletter
  • Publish at least one newsletter per month covering:
  • New hires
  • Employee milestones
  • Team wins and recognitions
  • Policy updates
  • Achieve and maintain an 80%+ employee open rate

Additional HR Duties

  • Maintain accurate employee records and documentation
  • Support onboarding, training coordination, and HR administration
  • Assist with HR policies, compliance tracking, and reporting
  • Handle other HR-related responsibilities as needed

Qualifications

  • Human Resources experience required (strict requirement)
  • Strong proficiency using Indeed for recruiting
  • Excellent English written and verbal communication
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Strong understanding of hiring, onboarding, and HR processes
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
  • Comfortable working remotely and managing multiple priorities
