Position Overview

We are looking for an Experienced U.S. Tax Preparer based in Mexico to join our growing remote team. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and highly skilled in preparing and reviewing U.S. individual and business tax returns.

You will collaborate with our U.S.-based team and play a key role in helping S&A Professional Solutions grow by providing high-quality, timely tax services and strengthening client relationships through accuracy and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review U.S. individual (Form 1040) and business tax returns (Forms 1065, 1120, 1120S).
  • Ensure accuracy and compliance with IRS and state regulations.
  • Identify tax-saving opportunities and make proactive recommendations.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and internal teams.
  • Maintain confidentiality and uphold firm data security standards.
  • Stay up to date with U.S. tax law changes and filing requirements.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in U.S. tax preparation (individual and business).
  • Strong working knowledge of U.S. tax laws and forms.
  • Proficiency with CCH Access tax software
  • Excellent English communication skills (written and spoken).
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Reliable internet connection and ability to work remotely.
  • (Preferred) CPA, EA, or AFSP credential.
  • Bookkeeping and Payroll Experience is a Plus
