We are currently seeking a
Substitute Teacher
to support classroom instruction and ensure continuity of learning in the absence of regular teaching staff, while upholding Montenova's educational philosophy and high academic standards.
Requirements:
- Fluency in English (mandatory)
- Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field (preferred)
- Previous teaching experience, ideally in early years and primary.
Main Responsibilities:
- Deliver lesson plans and instructional activities prepared by the regular teacher, ensuring continuity of learning.
- Maintain a safe, respectful, and engaging classroom environment aligned with school policies.
- Support students academically and emotionally during the school day.
- Manage classroom behavior following Montenova's guidelines and expectations.
- Communicate relevant observations or incidents to the academic coordination team.
- Supervise students during class time, breaks, transitions, and dismissal as required.
- Adapt teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of students.
- Uphold safeguarding, wellbeing, and child protection policies at all times.
