The GBS Americas will serve as a hub of innovation and excellence, driving our mission to deliver superior solutions and services to our valued customers.Takes care of customers & their orders, enquires and complaints in a consistent, fast, friendly and communicative manner in accordance to the needs of the customer. Pursues timely communication, shipment, and documentation through assertive and cooperative communication with sales/BU, other order fulfillment functions, credit, and PSRA. Ensures coordination with all areas of the Supply Chain and internal/external customers.ResponsibilitiesTakes care of customers & their orders, enquires and complaints in a consistent, fast, friendly and communicative manner in accordance to the needs of the customer.Receipt of customer orders (Fax/e-mail / phone) and order entry in respective ERP System (SAP / AX).Follow up on customer orders, and independent negotiations with customers concerning order details (delivery date, quantity, partial deliveries).Catching hold of customer complaints, finding and establishing solutions once a complaint is Customer Service related.Pursues timely communication, shipment, and documentation through assertive and cooperative communication with sales/BU, other order fulfillment functions, credit, and PSRA.Ensures coordination with all areas of the Supply Chain and internal/external customers.Handling of consignment stocks incl.
