Our R&D Senior Manager is responsible for the technical delivery of innovation and renovation projects across LATAM Business Units, ensuring full legal, regulatory, and safety compliance. The role works closely with cross-functional teams to drive successful product launches and bring R&D initiatives to life across the region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and deliver new product developments in LATAM on time and in full, ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory, and safety standards.
  • Responsible for Project Leadership of projects -single point of accountability for technical delivery and responsible for communication with stakeholder(s) on all technical elements. 
  • Provide technical insights to the R&D Organization, Marketing, Supply Chain, and external partners to support innovation projects.
  • Lead and execute R&D product activations, including training the sales force on product knowledge.
  • Ensure technical supportability of advertising claims in communication with trade and consumers based on excellent technical, legal, and competitor understanding.
  • Drive compliances and delivery of projects in UPMS and gate documents including compliance checks and local requirements.
  • Work closely with Supply Management and Supply Chain on local supply chain support activities e.g. value improvement, third party manufacturing support, alternative sourcing.
  • Act as a Senior R&D leader, driving the R&D agenda and embodying company values of Performance, Passion, and Care.

Required Experience & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Food Science or a related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in food product development, regulatory, or project leadership within regional or global environments.
  • Strong technical knowledge in Dairy and Plant-Based Foods (Oils & Fats, Spreads, Margarine, Cheese, Creams & Dressings).
  • Proven leadership in complex, cross-functional projects.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written).
  • Collaborative, proactive, and adaptable to fast-changing environments.
