B2B Sales Manager – Insurers
hace 5 días
is a digital health and wellness ecosystem helping companies, insurers and brokers give people real access to healthcare across LATAM — not just a card in their wallet.
- 11M+ active subscribers
- 350+ corporate clients
- 88% patient recommendation rate
- 3.5K+ medical consultations per day
- Operations in 7 countries
Our purpose is simple (and ambitious): impact 100M people in LATAM in the next 6 years through accessible, hybrid, high-quality healthcare.
To get there, we're building with:
- Technological differentiation
- Disruptive business models
- A deep focus on chronic patients & underserved segments
- Continuous co-creation with our clients
The insurance world is changing fast: wellness, prevention and digital health are no longer "nice to have", they're the product.
We're looking for a senior B2B Sales Manager focused on Insurers & Brokers who wants to sit exactly at that intersection: between digital health and insurance, taking deals from prospecting → design → negotiation → closing → live operations.
This is a role for someone who:
• Speaks the language of insurers, brokers, assistance companies and affinity channels,
• Can challenge clients strategically (not just "sell benefits"), and
• Wants to help build Medismart's playbook for insurance & brokers across LATAM.
If you like building relationships at C-level and getting into the weeds to make contracts go live, keep reading.
What you'll be doing:
End-to-end commercial ownership
• Own the full sales cycle with insurers, brokers, MGAs, assistance companies and large affinity partners: mapping, prospecting, qualifying, pitching, negotiating and closing.
• Build and manage a healthy pipeline, from first meeting to signed contract and launch.
Market & opportunity development
• Analyze market, competition and trends in health, life, supplemental and affinity products to detect where Medismart can plug in and add value.
• Identify new product, segment and channel opportunities together with leadership.
Solution design with Product & Operations
• Translate client needs (actuarial, product, operations, CX) into concrete digital health solutions with our Product and Operations teams.
• Participate in building bundles, pricing logic and implementation plans so deals are both attractive and viable.
• Ensure a smooth handover to Operations, staying close during onboarding and the first months of launch.
Negotiation & dealmaking
• Lead commercial and contractual negotiations (fees, usage models, commissions, SLAs), aiming for win–win, long-term partnerships.
• Work closely with legal, finance and product to align scope, timelines and profitability.
Relationship & account management
• Become a trusted counterpart for decision-makers in insurers and brokers: C-suite, product, innovation, HR, affinity and benefits teams.
• Develop account plans, upsell and cross-sell our portfolio, and detect expansion opportunities.
Reporting & discipline
• Work with our CRM (Pipedrive or similar) to keep pipeline, forecasts and activity up to date.
• Report progress, learnings and risks regularly to the leadership team.
Who you are:
• Experience:
• 5+ years in B2B sales / business development in insurance, brokers, assistance companies, insurtech or healthtech.
• Proven track record selling to Insurers and/or Brokers (health, life, supplemental, affinity, wellness or assistance programs).
• Sector fluency:
• You understand concepts like loss ratio, underwriting, rider vs. base product, affinity programs, wellness engagement, assistance services, etc.
• You're comfortable discussing with product, actuarial, operations and HR/Benefits teams.
• Sales skills:
• Strong hunter + closer profile, but with a long-term partnership mindset.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and storytelling skills (presentations, proposals, executive conversations).
• Way of working:
• You're comfortable in a startup / scale-up environment: fast-moving, imperfect, lots of building as we go.
• You're proactive, analytical, organized and know how to manage your own funnel and priorities.
• Languages & location:
• Fluent Spanish and very good English (most of our materials and some calls are in English).
• Based in Mexico or elsewhere in LATAM, with availability to travel when needed.
What we offer:
• High-impact mission: The chance to directly shape how millions of people access healthcare through insurers and brokers in LATAM.
• Real ownership: You'll lead the insurance/broker commercial front, with direct exposure to the C-suite and regional leadership.
• Competitive compensation:
• Attractive fixed salary
• Variable scheme linked to portfolio performance and commissions, with upside as your portfolio grows.
• Regional playground: Work with leading insurers, brokers and partners across multiple countries.
• Startup energy, real traction: The speed and flexibility of a startup, with the stability of a business that already has millions of users and hundreds of clients.
How to apply:
If this sounds like you and you want to help us build the future of digital health for insurers and brokers in LATAM, send us your:
• CV or LinkedIn profile
• Brief note explaining one deal you're proud of in the insurance/broker world and why
Apply via LinkedIn company page) or reach out directly through the application button.
Let's build something big — and useful — together.
