Position Title:

Operations Manager, Distribution Center Mx

Summary:

Responsible for optimally scheduling and managing distribution center operations, ensuring the proper execution of the following work teams: E-commerce, Inbound, Processing, and VAS.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Management

• Ensure compliance with area KPIs (Receiving, Replan, Picking, VAS & eCommerce).
• Supervise shift start and end.
• Monitor and ensure operational flow in conjunction with Planning and Outbound managers (volume processing, order management, SLA).
• Budget Management: Supplies, HC, overtime, etc. for the operation.
• Review and negotiate order priorities to ensure compliance with the daily work plan.

Talent Management

• Provide feedback in case of non-compliance with objectives and/or general activities.
• Conduct shift start, follow-up, and shift end sessions.
• Ensure a culture of safety and housekeeping.

Control and Auditing

• Conduct process audits.
• Gemba walk
• Manage internal DC conflicts: Maintenance, health and safety, HR, security.

Communication

• Coordinate communication between shifts (cross-shift).
• Ensure communication between areas for operational process flow.
• Foster teamwork between areas and associates.

Administration and Continuous Improvement

• Propose and implement ideas for continuous improvement (Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen).
• Support project planning and execution.
• Analyze, develop, and improve warehouse processes and capacity.
• Analyze areas of opportunity, identify root causes, and provide solutions.

Inventory management

• Work closely with the inventory department to ensure inventory integrity and reliability.
• Knowledge of IRA & ILA (desirable).

Quality management

• Follows up on detected faults to apply corrective actions.

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, or related field.
• Master's degree in Supply Chain or Logistics Systems desirable.
• 5+ years of experience in related positions such as warehouse operations manager (retail desirable).
• Experience in personnel management.
• String leadership skills.
• Knowledge of WMS, SAP, PKMS or Manhattan systems desirable.
• Advanced Excel.
• Knowledge of Power BI.
• Fluent English.
