Detailed Description
Perform accounting tasks to support the accounts payable area, process documents in a timely and efficient manner, through the electronic process system, in order to maintain accurate records to process payments.
- Review, verify and process invoices for payment, verifying that the amount is correct and that official referrals adhere to established regulations.
- Maintain timely, accurate and complete supplier records.
- Follow up with the corresponding departments to obtain documentation and support, including authorizations for transactions that have not been reported.
- Properly classify accounting documents according to existing cost centers.
- Maintain the portfolio of the Suppliers assigned in "Not Due"
- Ensure that the Supplier accounts impacted by the Suppliers assigned are cleaned and not due.
Requirements and qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or other related fields or equivalent experience
- 1 year of experience in manufacturing accounting or a similar role.
- Proficient in Excel; experience with Oracle is a plus.
- Intermediate knowledge of Accounting, understanding of credit/debit, accounts payable.
- Advanced proficiency in English
