Job Overview:
The Air Conditioning Product Manager is responsible for overseeing the complete product lifecycle — from market research and product definition to development, launch, and performance management. This role requires a strong understanding of market dynamics, product planning, and collaboration across R&D, sales, and marketing to ensure the air conditioning product line remains innovative and competitive within the white goods industry.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Market Research & Demand Analysis
- Conduct comprehensive market and competitor analyses to identify trends, opportunities, and customer insights.
- Gather feedback from customers and analyze data to drive product improvements and innovation.
2. Product Definition & Development
- Define product specifications, features, and target segments based on market insights and business goals.
- Partner closely with R&D to guide the development of new products, ensuring on-time delivery and quality execution.
- Oversee the entire product development cycle, including roadmap creation, requirements documentation, and iteration management.
3. Product Launch & Promotion
- Plan and execute product launch strategies in coordination with marketing, sales, and channel teams.
- Collaborate with marketing to design campaigns and promotional activities that strengthen brand and product positioning.
4. Product Lifecycle Management
- Monitor market performance, analyze key indicators, and adjust strategies to optimize product results.
- Manage pricing, distribution channels, and promotional initiatives to maximize market penetration and profitability.
- Work with technical support and after-sales teams to address product issues and enhance customer satisfaction.
5. Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Lead product-related projects, coordinating with R&D, sales, supply chain, and manufacturing teams to ensure alignment and timely execution.
- Build strong internal and external partnerships to ensure smooth transitions from concept to commercialization.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Electronic Engineering, Marketing, Business Administration, or related fields; international product management experience is a plus.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in product management within the home appliances or white goods industry, ideally in air conditioning.
- Fluent in English, with the ability to operate effectively in an international environment.
- Solid understanding of product development, project management, and cross-department collaboration.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, capable of preparing detailed product requirement and market analysis reports.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities, with proven skill in coordinating diverse stakeholders.
- Innovative mindset with a strategic approach to adapting product strategies to changing market conditions.
- Able to manage multiple priorities under pressure while maintaining a high standard of performance.
