Our Volex de México - Tijuana Site Leading company in the region since September 1993, dedicated to manufacturing, assembly, construction, design, marketing, import, export and everything related to electronic circuits, electrical conduction cables, parts or components electrical appliances or computers, medical diagnostic equipment or other applications.

To cover a maternity leave, we require temporary support in the position of Tax Accountant.

The ideal candidate will be involved with preparing taxes reports. Moreover, the candidate must have strong interpersonal skills and possess a strong business acumen.

Core Areas of the Role Include but not limited to:

Taxes


•
Control and payment of sales tax of the American company.


• Control of exemption certificates for sales tax of the American company.


• Review and assistance in the calculation and presentation of the annual declaration of the Mexican company.

Financial Statements


• Weekly review of the income statement of the Mexican and American company.


• Identify the correct recording of daily transactions.


• Monthly reconciliation of the balance sheet accounts of the Mexican and American company.


• Prepare the North American consolidated trial balance for department use.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
  • 3 Years Experience on a related job position (Taxes Expertise required)
  • Fixed Asset Reconciliation experience is needed
  • Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • English level fluency bilingual is required.
  • Leadership and teamwork skills are needed.
