You efficiently administer samples for scientific analysis by creating records, assigning analytical tests, allocating samples for analysis, maintaining chain-of-custody for controlled samples, inputting results and liaising with supervisor. This role requires you to apply your organizational skills to meet tight deadlines.

How you will contribute

You will be responsible for all scientific administrative tasks including lab administration, housekeeping activities and working in accordance with laboratory-set quality standards. Because you will liaise with internal stakeholders, you will always demonstrate high quality customer service, by ensuring that work is done on time, that the analytical data generated is reliability, and that the results are accurate and provided in a timely manner. You will also assist with routine checks/calibrations and control documentation to ensure that only the most current versions are supplied to analysts. This role will require you to work at the highest standards of safety and quality, maintaining a clean, tidy and safe working environment and completing assigned quality actions in a timely manner.

• A relevant scientific discipline
• Competency in the use of generic and specific software packages required for the role including MS Office applications
• Basic lab equipment, preferably with work experience in a scientific environment
• Attending to detail, following written instructions and working on multiple activities concurrently
• Accountability, honesty, hardworking, flexibility and adaptability, and working efficiently on a team
• Good written and verbal communication skills

¿Qué necesitas saber de la posición?:

• Llevar a cabo inventario de almacén de inocuidad del área de Calidad
• Generación de ordenes de compra de insumos del área de calidad (ejem. químicos, laboratorio)
• Seguimiento con proveedores de calidades Gestión de políticas de inocuidad, conocimiento avanzado HACCP y FFSC22000
• Manejo de personal sindicalizado mínimo 10 personas con experiencia a cargo
• Manejo de paquetería office principalmente excel (nivel intermedio avanzando)
• Conocimiento deseable en Power BI

Educación / Certificaciones:

• Ing. Industrial, Química, alimentos o afín

Requerimientos específicos del puesto:

• Mínimo 1 años de experiencia
• Inglés básico

Horario de Trabajo:

• Domingo a jueves con descanso viernes y sábado ó martes a sábado con descanso de domingo y lunes
