About the role:

We are seeking a highly analytical and proactive Business Intelligence & Operations Analyst to work closely with the COO in the day-to-day management and performance tracking of five independent sporting complexes.

This role is ideal for a final-semester university student or recent graduate in Mexico who wants hands-on exposure to real operational decision-making, multi-site reporting, and executive-level problem solving.

The position is part-time with high flexibility. Candidates may hold other jobs or academic commitments, provided all responsibilities, deadlines, and deliverables are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Consolidate operational, financial, and performance data across multiple locations into clear, standardized reporting
  • Build and maintain Excel-based dashboards, trackers, and operational models
  • Support the COO with weekly and monthly performance insights (revenue, utilization, costs, trends, anomalies)
  • Help define and track KPIs across different sports formats (padel, soccer, multi-sport)
  • Improve existing reporting processes by identifying inefficiencies and proposing better structures or tools
  • Prepare concise summaries and insights to support operational and strategic decisions
  • Coordinate with local operators when clarification or data validation is required

Required Qualifications:

  • Currently in the final semester of college or a recent graduate
  • Background in Business Intelligence, Analytics, Industrial Engineering, Business, Finance, or related quantitative fields
  • Proficiency in Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, data consolidation)
  • Experience with BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or similar)
  • Comfortable working with imperfect or decentralized data and turning it into actionable insights
  • High level of ownership, autonomy, and accountability
  • Strong communication skills and ability to explain insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders

Nice to Have:

  • Experience working with multi-location operations
  • Familiarity with sports, fitness, or venue-based businesses
  • Prior exposure to operations, finance, or performance reporting roles
