What's the role?

The Role

General Ledger Accounting is responsible for multiple accounting tasks that comprise:

  • Journal entries: Record daily, weekly and monthly journal entries across different entities.
  • Reconciliation Process: Prepares work papers for the different General Ledger accounts. 
  • Statutory Audit: Prepares multiple work papers and supports for external and internal auditors.


Who are you?

This position requires a college level degree in accounting or finance candidate with at least 1 year of experience (preferably), preferably in a global company and multiple time zones, fluent in English. The following skills and knowledge are also desired:

  • Experience with accounting software programs, ERPs (such as PeopleSoft, SAP, etc.)
  • Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Good communication skills, proactiveness, independence and team spirit drive.
  • Full time job

IMPORTANT:

  • This role is based in Leon, Guanajuato and follows a hybrid working arrangement of three days on-site in our Refugio Campestre office and two days remote (work from home). No exceptions will be made to this working arrangement.
