Position Summary

Insendra is seeking an Account Manager to support and scale our client delivery across email and SMS marketing programs. This role sits at the center of client communication, production management, and performance reporting. You will ensure that projects move efficiently from strategy to execution to results.

This is a full-time position ideal for someone proactive, detail-oriented, and eager to build strategic and operational skills within an agency environment.

Prior experience with Klaviyo is preferred, and you should be familiar with the platform. We're looking for someone curious, coachable, and excited to take on increased responsibility over time. You will grow and shape this role as Insendra scales.

What You'll Do

Client & Account Management

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, ensuring clear communication, alignment on priorities, and consistent improvement.
  • Lead weekly client calls to provide performance updates, clarify upcoming deliverables, and ask strategic questions.
  • Maintain full visibility into campaign and flow status across all accounts, proactively identifying risks or bottlenecks.
  • Communicate business updates, campaign details, and asset needs with clients to keep production on track.

Production Oversight & Team Coordination

  • Manage a three-person production pod, ensuring weekly deliverables progress smoothly and deadlines are met.
  • Coordinate with designers and internal teammates to move work from copywriting to build to deployment.
  • Send design previews to clients for feedback and approvals, and facilitate the incorporation of revisions.
  • Use Airtable to manage tasks, timelines, and dependencies, keeping documentation accurate and up to date.
  • Communicate key production updates via Slack.
  • QA all emails and campaigns built in Klaviyo to ensure accuracy across content, links, logic, and formatting.

Performance Tracking & Optimization

  • Maintain a client performance tracking sheet, documenting tests, optimizations, and wins to create a living history for reporting.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement each week based on campaign performance.
  • Translate campaign and flow performance into clear insights and recommendations.
  • Maintain a strong and consistent testing cadence across segmentation, messaging, offers, and timing.

Reporting & Strategic Planning

  • Build monthly reporting decks that include:
  • Key performance metrics.
  • Results of A/B tests and lifecycle optimizations.
  • 1–2 concrete recommendations for the coming month.
  • Identify underperforming areas and outline improvement plans, creating tasks in Airtable as needed.
  • Highlight client wins and positive trends, ensuring clients clearly understand impact and progress.
  • Review and adjust campaign calendars in response to evolving client goals and performance insights.
  • Support ongoing development of client design systems by holding designers accountable for incremental improvements and reusable components.

Quarterly & Long-Term Responsibilities

  • Ensure client-attributed revenue trends upward quarter-over-quarter.
  • Prepare concise quarterly summaries outlining wins, performance, execution quality, and creative innovation.
  • Build and maintain quarterly campaign calendars, ensuring all deliverables are documented in Airtable and shared planning tools.
  • Identify and communicate upsell or expansion opportunities to the Chief Revenue Officer.
  • Provide leadership with a view of pod performance, including opportunities to improve team structure, workflows, and overall effectiveness.

What We're Looking For

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Two years of experience with email and SMS marketing concepts. Klaviyo experience is preferred.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfort working in tools like Airtable, Slack, and Google Workspace.
  • A detail-oriented mindset with a strong appreciation for QA and process.
  • Curiosity, coachability, and a genuine interest in lifecycle marketing and eCommerce.
