Job Summary

The Platform Operations Engineer plays a key role in the maintenance and improvement automatic data collection and integration processes.This position focuses on the daily operations that make possible that data from a variety of sources gets into the Platform for reporting.The Platform Operations Engineer is part of the Database team which is dedicated to providing clean and usable marketing data to our clients. As part of the MSIGHTS team, this position requires a great capacity to take initiative, an ability to consistently deliver above expectation, a passion for continuous improvement, and a willingness to work hard and be rewarded.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Design and develop new consumption channels for the data provided by MSIGHTS. For example, Data Cubes in SSAS, individual tables, B2B services.
  • Monitor and improve query execution performance for all clients.
  • Monitor and improve operational task.
  • Server maintenance 
  • The candidate is required to document, generate ideas, follow coding standards and patterns.
  • Using Agile and Scrum methodologies, deliver a plan and follow it to successfully release the applications. 

Qualifications and Skills

  • 1+ years of experience working on SQL Server.
  • Postgre SQL
  • Fluent in the English Language with strong communications skills — both written and verbal — and the ability to work well with an internal team.
  • AWS Technologies: Redshift, Spectrum, Parquet.   (optional)
  • Python (optional)
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
