ABOUT THE ROLE

We're looking for a Technical Lead to join a cross-functional team developing a case management and workflow automation platform powered by Python, React, and AWS. You'll own the technical solution end-to-end, from architecture to delivery, ensuring scalability, quality, and alignment with business goals.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
  • Provide technical direction and architectural oversight for backend (Python) and frontend (React) components;
  • Provide insights about AI utilization in assisting users;
  • End-to-end ownership of the technical solution;
  • Translate business requirements into technical solutions and ensure high-quality implementation;
  • Design scalable, maintainable architectures leveraging Heroku (initially) and AWS (long-term);
  • Ensure clean, secure, and testable code through code reviews and best practices;
  • Mentor engineers and define development standards across the project;
  • Support CI/CD setup, environment provisioning, and DevOps coordination;
  • Collaborate with PM and Designer to define the technical roadmap and support inception activities.
MUST HAVES
  • 6+ years of software engineering experience;
  • 2+ years in a lead or architect role.
  • Strong backend development experience with Python (FastAPI, Flask, or Django);
  • Proven experience with React and TypeScript;
  • Solid understanding of cloud development and deployment (Heroku, AWS, GCP) environments;
  • Experience with modular architectures, APIs, and system integrations;
  • Excellent communication skills in distributed, cross-functional teams;
  • Advanced English and availability for EST overlap;
  • 1+ years building with LLMs, both locally-hosted and API-based (OpenAI, Gemini, etc.);
  • Expertise in Python and libraries like PyTorch, TensorFlow, and Hugging Face;
  • Hands-on experience with agentic pipelines, RAG, vector search, and prompt engineering.
