SAP Application Support Lead
- In this role, you will provide Level 1 support for our SAP applications, assisting users with issues, resolving inquiries, and ensuring optimal system performance. Your focus will be in the Americas region (9 plants in the US, Mexico and Brazil).
- Your expertise will help maintain the efficiency and effectiveness of our SAP environment, enhancing user satisfaction and operational excellence.
- You will need to collaborate with the team, bridging business requirements with technical skills. You'll determine when users need basic support versus when system modifications or enhancements are necessary.
Responsibilities
Incident Management
Provide first-line support for SAP applications, addressing user inquiries and technical issues via phone, email, and ticketing system.
Monitor system performance and user access, ensuring timely resolution of issues to minimize downtime.
Technical Expertise
Maintain a strong understanding of SAP applications and configurations.
Analyze and troubleshoot basic SAP application problems, escalating complex issues to Level 2 support as needed.
Documentation and Reporting
Maintain accurate records of incidents, solutions, and support processes
Continuous Improvement
Identify opportunities for process improvements within the SAP support workflow.
- Implement best practices to enhance efficiency and reduce incident recurrence.
Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in SAP application support or business analysis.
- Strong understanding of SAP modules (SD, MM, PP, QM are preferred) and their functionalities.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze issues quickly and effectively.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact with users at all levels.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with ticketing systems.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish or English/Portuguese) is a plus
