Position: Integration Engineer

Role Overview

The Integration Engineer is a highly skilled professional responsible for designing, building, and maintaining critical backend and integration systems. This role goes beyond implementation, acting as a technical leader and innovator, contributing to architectural decisions, best practices, and the overall success of the engineering team and the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain backend integrations and middleware solutions.
  • Build and support APIs and integration flows to connect internal and external systems.
  • Serve as a technical reference for integration best practices and standards.
  • Contribute to system architecture, scalability, performance, and reliability.
  • Collaborate closely with development, architecture, and business teams to deliver integration solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex integration and system issues.
  • Ensure high availability, security, and performance of integration platforms.
  • Mentor and support other engineers, fostering knowledge sharing and technical growth.

Technical Requirements

  • Strong experience as an Integration Engineer or in a similar backend-focused role.
  • Hands-on experience with MuleSoft (preferred).
  • Experience with alternative integration platforms such as:
  • Apigee
  • BizTalk
  • Solid understanding of API design, RESTful services, and integration patterns.
  • Experience working with enterprise integration architectures and middleware solutions.
