Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead a team of Research and Development (R&D) employees and support them in achieving the agreed R&D targets. Each day, you will coach and develop the team. You will also showcase your expertise by helping in managing technologies, platforms, and Intellectual Property.
The work model for the role is: #LI-Onsite
This role is contributing to the R&D Medium Voltage Products in San Luis Potosi.
You will be mainly accountable for:
- Acting as technical lead for 11 engineers at 2 sites (SLP and MTY)
- Conducting local PDAs, hiring, for SLP and MTY team
- Acting as technical lead of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) moving to global PLM
- Responsible of enhancements of product according to Cost reduction, Sustainable materials and Better ways to produce
- Planning and ensuring an appropriate project portfolio for the team.
Qualifications for the role
- 9+ years of experience done on Research & Development, Technology, Product,
- Design, Application Engineering areas.
- Experience on new products development, re-design, improvement of existing and/or customized products and manage PLM Systems
- 2 years of Team leadership experience.
- Knowledge of power electrical equipment MCC and/or switchgear or combination & knowledge and understanding of UL, ANSI, and IEEE standards and Strong electrical and electronic knowledge.
- Advance English level
