This ensures a pleasantly relaxed driving experience without rough strokes – no matter whether occupants drive for themselves or are being driven autonomously.
We are looking to hire a Project Manager for our Aftermarket Division at our Guadalajara Ofices.
What you can look forward to as Program Manager?
- Manage the overall launch project, ensuring the successful launch of all product variants with the customer and achieving all scope, timing, budget, and quality targets.
- Analyze and resolve risks/problems throughout the project. / Set up, track, and ensure the technical project plan is compliant with the GDPEP (how to run PM in ZF) process. (governing rules for the program management process)
- Manage and ensure product maturity within the development regarding fulfillment of customer specifications, ZF and customer quality requirements, safety regulations, and legal requirements.
- Own the business case and take budget responsibility for all project expenses, ensuring cross-functional alignment to reach financial contribution targets and managing the risks to secure the project targets.
- Identify, track, and manage any scope changes to assess the impact on the Quality Cost and Timing baseline to capitalize on those changes.
- Responsible for project performance monitoring and risk management./ Coordinate validation/prototype activities within testing centers./Coordinate and execute system, interface, and design FMEAs/PFMEA
- Act as main customer liaison and balance internal and external interests, act as key point of contact for all Intercompany suppliers.
- Ensure team resources, set annual targets to functional project team members, and provide performance feedback and development needs.
Your profile as Program Manager:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Technology, or Business Management
- Minimum of 5 years of automotive business-related experience with a minimum of 5 years of project management experience, including experience dealing with large Commercial Vehicle OEMs; New Automotive, IAM and Fleets Customers.
- Professional in Project/Program Management standards and methods (PMP certification preferred).
- Leadership experience in North America commercial vehicle or automotive industry.
- After Market product portfolio know-how, preferably in Commercial Vehicles.
- Extensive experience with engineering systems, change management, and product development./ Experience in business implementation as well as production, plant and customer launches.
- Knowledge of project finance, business case leadership, and strategy understanding.
- Demonstrated social and interpersonal competencies (verbal and written communication, relationships, conflict management).
- Fluent in English (in German preferred)
