Mission of the Role:
To support the reliability and performance of electronic products by conducting thorough failure mode analysis, circuit testing, and validation. This role also provides technical support to warranty teams by identifying root causes of electronic failures, contributing to improved product quality and customer satisfaction.

Key Objectives of this Role:

• Perform detailed failure mode analysis across various electronic products.
• Define, implement, and maintain standardized processes for product analysis.
• Generate and manage comprehensive product reports to support engineering and warranty decisions.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to identify and resolve electronic failures.
• Conduct circuit simulations and hands-on testing to validate electronic designs.
• Provide technical support to warranty investigations and corrective actions.
• Continuously develop technical expertise in electronics and contribute to innovation.

Key Performance Indicators

• Failure Mode Analysis Completion Rate: % of analyses completed within defined timelines.
• Accuracy of Product Reports: % of reports accepted without revision.
• Process Compliance: Adherence to defined product analysis procedures.
• Issue Resolution Time: Average time to identify and resolve electronic failures.
• Circuit Validation Success Rate: % of circuits passing validation tests.
• Warranty Support Effectiveness: % of warranty cases resolved with root cause identified.
• Continuous Improvement Contributions: Number of suggestions or implementations for process or product improvement.

Key Year One Deliverables:

• Establish and document a standardized product analysis process.
• Complete failure mode analysis for at least three major product lines.
• Develop and maintain a reporting system for product diagnostics and results.
• Build simulation models for critical circuits and validate them through testing.
• Create a cross-functional interface guide to streamline collaboration on failure analysis and warranty support.
• Participate in at least one electronics development initiative to enhance product reliability.
• Provide root cause analysis support for warranty cases and contribute to corrective action plans.

Qualification, Experience and Skills:

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical /Electronic Engineering Degree or similar.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in circuit analysis
• Experience in test equipment and electronic laboratory tools.
• Problem solver skills
• Knowledge on circuit simulation
• Good understanding of the electronics basis
• Have interest in continuous growing and continuous development in electronics tasks
