Senior Graphic Designer

We are looking for a senior graphic designer to join our creative team at a pivotal time as we strive to become a leader in the field of visual data storytelling.

A versatile and creative Designer to transform data into compelling visual narratives and help bring our insights to life across digital formats.

Applicants must have a varied portfolio which demonstrates a great deal of flair and passion for design. We are looking for evidence of strategic thinking and the ability to solve complex problems as well as artistic talent. Make sure you're sharing your portfolio in your application.
You will be a creative partner to the marketing team, confident in helping shape and refine content to reduce versioning and maximise end design.
In this role, you'll own the visual execution of research-driven reports, turning complex findings into engaging stories that resonate with both internal stakeholders and external audiences. You'll also create supporting go-to-market materials—including social graphics and promotional assets—that amplify the impact of our content and campaigns.

Key Duties Include

• Design visually engaging data storytelling reports, using charts, infographics, layouts, and online design systems that make insights accessible and memorable.
• Create go-to-market assets for report launches—social graphics, promotional email banners, landing page images, etc.
• Working on multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring they are all delivered on time and on brand.
• Maintaining good communication with stakeholders, managing expectations and processing feedback effectively.
• Consistently producing slick, professional design work which not only looks great, but communicates YouGov's message succinctly and powerfully.
• Ensure brand consistency across all materials, with a strong eye for layout, typography, and hierarchy.
• Support the evolution of our visual storytelling standards and advocate for great design across the organization.

Skills And Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience working in commercial graphic design positions
• Highly skilled in the Adobe Creative Suite
• Ability to design, implement, and release automated templates and tools to marketers (Frontify, Figma etc.)
• Must have a portfolio demonstrating impressive creative contributions across a variety of projects, including data storytelling
• Creative flair and a passion for design
• Excellent communication skills
• Working knowledge of Figma
• Experience with After Effects would be nice to have, but not essential
