A Day In The Life
As our Channel Expert for the Consumer Products Division, you will be the strategic mind behind our presence in key supermarket chains across Mexico. Reporting to the Head of Trade Marketing, you will be responsible for designing and executing winning go-to-market strategies for all our categories, ensuring our brands not only stand out on the shelf but also connect deeply with the shopper.
Your Key Responsibilities Will Be
- Strategic Go-to-Market: You will develop and implement the trade marketing strategy for the supermarket channel, adapting brand and category plans to maximize their impact and drive growth.
- Data-Driven Insights: Leveraging your analytical skills, you will dive into shopper data (Nielsen, BI, etc.) to understand consumer behavior, identify trends, and uncover opportunities to win at the point of sale.
- Flawless Activation: You will lead the activation plan, including seasonal events, in-store media, and promotions, collaborating with commercial and marketing teams to ensure perfect execution and a strong return on investment.
- Financial & Budget Management: You will have full ownership of the channel's P&L and manage a significant budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to drive both sales and profitability.

We are seeking a results-oriented and analytical professional with a strong entrepreneurial spirit. Someone who can build bridges between marketing and sales, turning strategy into tangible results in a dynamic environment.
You are a great match for this role if you have:
- Proven experience in trade marketing, marketing, or commercial roles, preferably within the consumer goods industry.
- Strong business acumen and the ability to manage a P&L and budget effectively.
- Deep understanding of the modern retail landscape in Mexico and shopper behavior.
- The ability to collaborate and influence cross-functional teams with transversal leadership.
- Based on our Skills Library, the most relevant skills for this role are: Business Acumen, Retail & Channel Expertise, Consumer & Market Insight, Data-Driven Decision Making, and Strategic Planning.
