As Senior Manager of Analytics for LATAM, you will help shape one of Nike's most important markets by delivering sharp insights, informing decision-making moments, and influencing strategies across Nike Digital, Nike Stores, and Wholesale partners. Reporting to the Senior Director of Analytics for Asia, Pacific and Latin America (APLA), you will lead a team of analysts translating marketplace signals into actionable recommendations that drive growth.
Role Purpose
The Senior Manager of Analytics leads strategic analysis that enables Nike LATAM to take better, faster and more impactful actions. You will embed analytics into key enterprise moments, partnering with Strategy, Planning, Finance, to support Nike Direct and Sales in shaping Territory strategies aligned with Nike's priorities for the APLA Geography.
You will:
- Own marketplace analytics for LATAM across channels
- Establish the analytics practice in Territory
- Lead, coach and develop a high-performing analytics team
- Personally contribute to high-stakes analytical work
- Influence territory and marketplace leaders through actionable insights
WHAT YOU'LL WORK ON
Marketplace and Business Analysis
- Lead end-to-end analyses by defining methodology, establishing KPIs, creating analytical frameworks, extracting insights and delivering strategic recommendations.
- Conduct comprehensive deep-dive analyses of marketplace performance by triangulating multiple signals such as sales, margin, market share, traffic, and conversion to determine drivers of performance and identify risks and opportunities.
- Represent macro-economic, marketplace and consumer trends in business reviews.
- Leverage predictive and scenario-based analysis in partnership with Data Science.
Strategic Influence and Storytelling
- Set the analytics agenda for LATAM in collaboration with Territory leadership, establishing prioritization processes to ensure team capacity is focused on the highest-impact work.
- Distill complex data signals into clear, compelling and actionable storytelling.
- Leverage analytics to inform major decisions across Nike Direct and Sales
- Serve as a thought partner and business consultant to Territory leadership in critical decision-making moments supporting integrated marketplace strategies
Leadership, Coaching and Team Development
- Lead, coach and develop analysts through structured feedback and day-to-day partnership.
- Step into complex analyses to refine approach, sharpen story and model analytical excellence.
- Build scalable frameworks and efficient processes for Territory Analytics.
- Foster a culture of curiosity, teamwork and accountability.
Cross-Functional and Cross-Geo Partnership
- Partner with Nike Direct, Sales, Planning, Merch, Finance and Strategy on LATAMs top priorities.
- Collaborate with APLA Geo Marketplace Analytics and Global Marketplace Analytics to align on best practices, methodologies and approach.
- Work with Global Technology to influence data, tooling and capability roadmaps. Ensure LATAM's analytical needs are represented and supported.
What You Bring
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Analytics, Statistics, Economics, Business or related field.
- Advanced degree preferred.
- 8 or more years of experience in analytics or related fields.
- 3 or more years leading analytics teams.
- Experience working with retail and marketplace data at scale.
- Proven success in matrixed and fast-paced environments.
Analytical and Technical Skills
- Ability to design analytical solutions end-to-end from scoping to execution and storytelling.
- Expertise in root-cause analysis, descriptive and predictive analytics, trend diagnostics and scenario.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python or R, and cloud analytics platforms such as Databricks and Snowflake. Experience with visualization tools such as Tableau, Looker or Power BI.
Business Acumen and Strategic Storytelling
- Strong understanding of retail KPIs, revenue and margin drivers, product lifecycle and marketplace levers.
- Fluency in planning, merchandising, distribution and retail operations.
- Ability to translate industry, competitive and consumer trends into business impact.
- Ability to transform complex data into concise and compelling narratives that drive action.
- Skilled at influencing senior leaders across functions.
Leadership and Talent Development
- Experience coaching and developing analytics talent.
- Ability to balance strategic leadership with hands-on analytical contributions.
- Strong stakeholder management and ability to build trust across levels and functions.
