They are seeking a Human Resources Consultant to support an extensive client base across all core HR functions. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, problem-solving, and hands-on HR work, while building strong relationships with senior stakeholders. You'll work under tight deadlines, manage multiple priorities, and play a key role in delivering reliable, high-quality HR services.

What You'll Do

Client HR Support & Advisory

Provide day-to-day Human Resources support to a diverse client base across all core HR functions.Support activities including employee onboarding, terminations, employee relations, benefits administration, leave management, workers' compensation, and policy administration.Serve as a trusted HR partner, routinely communicating with client leadership and staff regarding HR-related projects, issues, and deliverables.Service Delivery & Operations
Deliver HR services accurately, on time, and within agreed timelines and budgets.Maintain a target of 75% billable utilization of total hours worked.Enter data, maintain HR files and records, and prepare required reports with a high degree of accuracy.Handle HR-related correspondence and assist in resolving client issues as needed.Compliance, Documentation & Audits
Prepare and maintain HR documentation in accordance with established processes and controls.Maintain historical records for administrative transactions.Assist with periodic audits of HR documents and systematically verify data for completeness and accuracy.Apply firm documentation standards and service delivery methodologies consistently.Cross-functional Collaboration
Provide backup support to payroll processing teams as needed (payroll advisory support is available for this role).Collaborate with internal consultants, managers, and client teams to ensure seamless service delivery.Participate in new and ongoing project initiatives, both internally and at client sites (as required).Escalate issues to senior consultants or managers when appropriate.Continuous Improvement & Development
Identify opportunities to improve HR processes, policies, and service efficiency.Recommend and implement new approaches to enhance client outcomes.Develop functional and industry knowledge by supporting clients across at least two industries.Participate in internal and external professional development opportunities.Assist with onboarding and training of new team members as needed.

What You Need

Education & Experience

College-level studies in Human Resources, Payroll, Business Consulting, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.1–3 years of experience across core Human Resources functions; payroll experience is a plus.Experience working with HRIS systems, benefits portals, and other HR-related software.Skills & Competencies
Strong understanding of HR processes, policies, and administrative controls.Ability to work accurately and efficiently under tight operational deadlines.Strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills.Excellent time management and organizational skills.Ability to communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing.Comfortable working independently or as part of a team with defined deliverables.Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).Bonus Points If You Have
PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, CPP, or other relevant HR certifications.Prior experience in an HR consulting or outsourcing environment.

Salary & Perks

Competitive SalaryThis is a full-time, long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement.Work from home.Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm (+/- 1 hour accepted) - PST.Additional perks
